Something Blue 1705 East Raleigh Wedding

Fall Wedding at 1705 East Raleigh Wedding by Java Rose Photography

Saja and Achraf met at the library. After several days of secret stares over books, the two finally approached each other for a shy introduction. In March 2018, Achraf slipped an engagement ring onto Saja’s finger. He took the relationship from best friends to life partners by receiving Saja’s parent’s blessing and proposing in front of family and friends. With the help of Saja’s sister Rawan Habib as wedding coordinator, the two tied the knot Nov. 24, 2019. Their 1705 East Raleigh wedding by Java Rose Photography was filled with soft blues and sparkle. Saja and Achraf Nachet’s real wedding is proof that not all fall weddings have to have a jewel tone color palette!

Saja’s sister discovered Java Rose Photography while browsing through Instagram. The bride and groom were immediately in awe of Apsari Gulbeden’s talent – the woman behind the camera lens of Java Rose Photography. Based in Raleigh, Apsari’s wedding photography style is bright and airy. Whether she’s capturing family photo sessions or a first look, Apsari has a natural eye for emotion. Her photos tell a story, and Saja and Achraf’s story is one of pure love. Java Rose Photography captured their Morocan and Palestinian reception with joy and attention to detail.

“When thinking about my wedding photography, I think of having the raw moments of our celebration captured in photos that I can pass down and share with the generations that come,” Bride Saja said.

1705 East Raleigh Wedding Venue  & Rocky Top Catering

Located just outside of downtown Raleigh, 1705 East wedding venue is as inviting on the inside as it is on the outside. We love that Java Rose Photography took advantage of the venue’s classic Southern front porch and manicured grounds. The massive oak tree in front of 1705 East gave Saja and Achraf a beautiful fall backdrop. Inside, the venue offers a more contemporary, upscale setting to match the bride and groom’s elegant blue color palette. 1705 East can host up to 200 guests for a seated event, or 250 for a standing reception. Ready for the best part? One of the most respected Raleigh wedding catering groups, Rocky Top Catering owns 1705 East. Saja and Achraf’s family and friends got to celebrate in a beautiful venue and eat some of the best wedding food in the Triangle!

Something Blue

For the second part of Saja and Achraf’s reception at 1705 East, the bride changed into Moroccan bridal attire to honor her husband’s Moroccan roots. Java Rose Photography perfectly captured the gown’s stunning shade of royal blue. Together, the newlyweds ended the night celebrating with friends and family and participating in traditional Moroccan dances.
