Dram & Draught

If you’re looking for a cocktail-focused wedding event, Dram & Draught might be the venue for you. This cocktail bar and event space has multiple locations throughout NC. Find them in Durham, Raleigh, Cary, Greensboro and Wilmington.

The locally-owned brand has been growing since 2016. They operate with the mission to offer hundreds of whiskey brands (300+). Plus, they offer quality wine, draught beer and specialty cocktails to customers across the state.

Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners and Other Events

Each location has some sort of private event space capacity. Please note, any of the bars can be rented for a full takeover and used as a wedding venue. However, partial takeover and semi-private events are more common. Consider these bars for intimate wedding events, rehearsal dinners and showers.

Each bar has an industrial, moody vibe. They offer a light bites menu, but allow outside catering for private events. Here’s a quick description of each location:

Glenwood South Dram & Draught

Many of you local Raleigh dwellers surely have enjoyed a cocktail here. This bar is on the bottom floor of the Glenwood “WeWork” building. Host a semi-private event on the covered patio space. Or, hot tip: ask the team about renting the upstairs rooftop indoor/outdoor space. Dram & Draught exclusively serves drinks for this space.

Downtown Durham Dram & Draught

Find the Durham location in the Brightleaf district of downtown. Opened in 2021, this has its own private room. Best of all, it has a window leading to the back side of the bar. So, your guests can still enjoy actual bar service! Host about 30 guests here.

Cary Location at Fenton

In 2022, the newest location opened. Discover this bar at the hottest new shopping and entertainment district in the Triangle Area. Our advice: pop into Fenton and get your name added to a restaurant waitlist. Then, head straight to Dram & Draught to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. Consider it a taste-test for your own event. This location has an open-air upstairs loft space, with its own bar. This is a great spot to host about 50 guests.

Greensboro Dram & Draught

This chic location features a wrap around outdoor patio. Garage doors open up to make the venue open-air.

Wilmington NC Location

Right in the heart of downtown Wilmington, you’ll find another one of the newer spots. This is a more petite location, in a great location. Ask about full space takeovers!
