One of our favorite parts of this two-story waterfront home is the getting-ready suite on-site that leads onto the downstairs covered patio. From there, the patio leads right out to the waterfront lawn area, where there’s also a fire pit perfect for gathering around with your guests.

The Retreat at Riverrun owner Michelle Smith is a seasoned realtor who operates Society Vacations, a travel agency that also has properties in Costa Rica.

The Retreat at Riverrun is a dream for outdoor enthusiasts and water-sports lovers, as there’s easy access to fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, jet skiing, and the Outer Banks are just a short drive away.

The Retreat at Riverrun is available for day rentals, which includes use of the main floor of the house. Or, you can book the entire venue and overnight accommodations for your weekendlong celebration! With this option you’ll have an on-site venue manager to help you throughout your event, and you can choose a full-service option with catering, planning and more included.
