DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the bounty of Spring while feeding our community – together. \nJoin The Parlour at Manns Chapel on Sunday\, May 22 from 1 to 3 p.m.\, as they proudly host The Parlour Charity Spring Market benefiting Fuel Up and CORA to benefit their goals to feed local families in need.\nInterested in a Tour of The Parlour? The Parlour staff will offer a group tour for anyone interested starting at 12:30 p.m.\nBrowse and shop these local vendors\, where a portion of all proceeds will go to charity:\nOrganic Plants and Produce: Nourishing Acres\nFlorals: Heart Song Farm\nHoney: Three Little Birds Apiaries\, whose bees live right down the road!\nIce Cream: Alsies\nPlus\, local crafts of handmade art cards\, pottery and window art!\nCharity Information:\nFuel Up has been providing meals to food-insecure children at Perry Harrison Elementary since 2008. They ensure that students in need have food at times when school is not in session; such as on the weekends\, through holiday breaks and during summer break.\nCORA‘s mission is to acquire and distribute food to Chatham County residents who have a need for community support to keep themselves and their families fed\, working toward creating a community without hunger.\nIf you’d like to bring food items to donate*:\nFuel Up is asking for donations of shelf-stable breakfast items as well as other canned items.\nCORA’s most needed food items this month are canned chicken\, canned fruit\, pasta\, rice\, spices\, oil and oranges.
