All Saints Chapel Raleigh Micro Wedding
Not even COVID-19 could cancel this love story! On July 11, 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, Linda Shropshire and Ken Eudy tied the knot at All Saints Chapel, surrounded by their closest friends and family (all social distanced, of course).
After meeting years earlier, the couple reconnected after Ken sent Linda an email in 2018. When he first met her, Ken loved how devoted Linda was to her daughters, and was struck by her decision to name her new consulting business after her beloved grandfather.
“You know I’d be dishonest if I didn’t mention how lovely she is,” Ken added. “I connected with her and invited her to dinner with no expectation [as to] whether it would be only friendly or potentially romantic.”
Clearly, sparks flew after that day.
The Perfect Raleigh Micro Wedding Venue – All Saints Chapel
Although extravagant wedding days can be fun, All Saints Chapel is the perfect location for a micro wedding. Though the chapel can fit up to 200 guests, the cozy atmosphere is ideal for more intimate affairs. Located in downtown Raleigh and built in 1875, the chapel is full of history and has been renovated beautifully to preserve its charm while incorporating modern amenities.
The space expertly combines traditional elegance with warmth and charm. Between the exposed wooden beams, vibrant stained glass windows and 18-foot ceilings, every corner of All Saints Chapel is worthy of a photo-op. Not to mention the chapel seamlessly converts to a stunning reception space with enough room for guests to dance the night away.
Java Rose Photography
The couple’s stunning day-of photos were captured by Java Rose Photography. The couple’s garden theme incorporated plenty of greenery and flowers, creating a sweet backdrop for romantic couple portraits and individual shots.
Java Rose captured all the magic, from the downtown Raleigh skyline, to artistic shots of the couple’s delicious food. Including gorgeous shots of the couple, featuring the bride’s shimmering mermaid gown from Gilded Bridal.
Speaking of food, AC Events cooked up the delicious menu for the night. With options ranging from steak to fried chicken to shrimp and grits, AC Events has a little bit of everything! And the reception was completed with the help of CE Rental who provided the seating, linens and extra touches that pulled the theme together.
Today, Linda and Ken are living out their happily ever after. Linda Eudy is the Leader of Human Rights at Cisco Systems and Ken Eudy is The Senior Advisor to Governor Roy Cooper.
