An Ode to Inclusivity – Changing Our Name
We used to be named Southern Bride & Groom. In 2020, we relaunched as Heart of NC Weddings. Each vendor in our directory was told that the change was, in large part, to make it clear that we are inclusive of LGBTQ+ couples.
We've highlighted local same-sex weddings from Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill on our blog, and we'll keep striving to be inclusive on our site and in our magazine.
