Wedding Officiants, Ministers and Celebrants 

The first step down the aisle? If you aren’t getting married in your church, synagogue or mosque, you’re going to have to hire a professional wedding officiant, minister or celebrant. It’s crucial that your minister is licensed to wed in the state of NC. If not, it’s not a legal wedding!

Select a local wedding officiant who is committed to representing and honoring both you and your betrothed in one ceremony. A good wedding minister or celebrant will possess the experience and know-how to help create a wedding ceremony unique to your relationship. They are willing and able to serve couples of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. They both work with all faiths and backgrounds, and intercultural ceremonies. Additionally, a good wedding celebrant is an expert, with a selection of wedding vows on hand. They are also capable of writing a special ceremony which highlights your love story. Or, have them perform a special ritual for you and your guests.

Pre-marital Counseling

Some wedding officiants also offer coaching and counseling services for their engaged couples. It’s a wonderful goal to spend a few months of your engagement focused on premarital counseling. Schedule it when you can, but plan to finish up at least a couple months before your wedding day. We cannot stress enough the importance of taking the time to address the important issues of marriage ahead of time. It’s good for the soul!
