It’s Wedding Feature Wednesday at Southern Bride & Groom! Today we’re excited to share Karyl and Matthew’s sparkling New Year’s Eve Wedding at Renaissance Raleigh North Hills.

Karyl and Matthew met as many modern couples do – online. Once they met in person, the chemistry was instant and they saw each other almost every day the following week.

Eventually, on a beautiful summer vacation at Isle of Palms Wild Dunes Resort in South Carolina, Matthew proposed and the wedding plans began!

The couple had a very specific wedding date in mind: New Year’s Eve. So, they started looking at facilities that had December 31, 2015 open and that could accommodate both the ceremony and the reception and that could house their guests so they didn’t have to travel after a night of partying. The Renaissance Raleigh Hotel in North Hills was a one-stop shop for everything they desired!

Pink and gold wedding colors were classy, yet fun and had an overall “NYE” theme. Guests participated in a sparkler exit as well as a fun NYE countdown and champagne toast.

The photos below from Amy Allen Photography capture the magic of this stylish New Year’s Eve/wedding celebration.
