Beautifully Subdued Nautical Wedding in Nags Head

Jenna and Chris welcomed their family to their home to celebrate their beautifully subdued nautical wedding in Nags Head, NC. The bride and groom opted to forgo a color theme and go with a natural nautical look. With light blush, cremes and grays, the wedding party perfectly complimented the stunning coast line around them.

Christian didn’t waste any time calling Jenna after she gave him her number at the gym one day. The phone rang that night and kick-started their seven-year relationship before Christian proposed at the end of their first ultramarathon together, on the JFK 50 mile.

There was a subdued rustic nautical look to the wedding, which took place along the gorgeous coastline of the Outer Banks. Jenna and Christian were excited to share their home of Nags Head with their friends and families – including the groom’s nine siblings. Guest rented houses the week of the wedding so they could spend extra time celebrating.

The bride glowed in her Maggie Sottero gown next to her dapper groom in a Vera Wang tux. Groomsmen were dressed in grey suits to compliment the bridemaids’ light pink Novelle Amsale dresses.

Jenna and Christian both love Jennette’s Pier and knew it was their first choice to join in marriage. Jenna described it as “a perfect venue.” Decorations did not have to be extravagant because it is beautiful inside and offers a scenic outside deck view of the Atlantic Ocean. “We tried to look at other venues, however, there was no comparison!”
