Allison & Broc
Allison and Broc met when they were 16 years old in the first and only class they would ever have together. Broc asked Allison to homecoming and 9 years later asked her to be his wife. With the help of all their wonderful vendors and a friend of the bride’s mother, their vision of a rustic-chic neutral wedding at Market Hall in Raleigh, NC came to life.

Broc had planned to propose one night while at his family’s house in Emerald Isle but got too nervous and held off until the next day. Allison and Broc had always talked about taking a romantic walk on the beach during the sunrise. Allison had woke up early one morning and Broc knew this would be a perfect opportunity to pop the question. He dropped down on one knee in the sand and proposed with a ring that was created from diamonds from both his Aunt and Mother’s rings.

Getting Ready

The couple wanted a rustic-chic theme with the main colors being gray, sage green and peach. The bridesmaids wore long sage green Allure gowns paired with beautiful spring bouquets that had touches of pinks and peaches by Artfully Arranged. The groomsmen wore classic sharp navy suits and corresponding boutonnieres.

The couple went with natural light photography with Annie Watts Photography, who was assisted by Luxe and Pine Photography. Allison shared “She was amazing! She has such a calm spirit about her that seemed to deflect on me during the wedding day – and not to mention her pictures are flawless!”

Rustic-Glam Reception at Market Hall in Raleigh, NC
Allison said their main concern was they “wanted everyone to have fun!” They kept that thought in mind when choosing Market Hall in Raleigh, picking their food and beverage selection and their songs they wanted everyone to dance to.

Allison and Broc used Catering Works for their catering at their reception and were beyond happy with that decision. The bride said, “I couldn’t say enough about this company – working with them was honestly a life saver!” The couple also used Catering Works for their wedding cake. Their cake was a lemon base with lemon curd and almond butter that was lightly iced to give it a natural look to go with their theme.
