The 21c Durham Hotel event space is not all edgy. A historic building, this used to be a bank and its main event space was the teller room. It is a classic ballroom with wooden paneled walls and grand columns. Today, it has giant modern orb lights lining the ceilings which give the downtown Durham wedding venue ballroom an uber modern flair.

Tre Bella Flowers designed an elegant wedding reception at 21c Durham Hotel. They used modern tabletop linen, china, and chairs from CE Rental. The bride spins in her lovely Hayley Paige wedding dress from Tre Bella Bridal in downtown Durham. It looks especially lovely with the light spilling in from the oversized ballroom windows.

Do you recognize the pink penguin? Each 21c property in the US has their own penguin with a unique color. Our 21c Durham Hotel has a fuchsia penguin. He LOVES to be part of photo opps with your wedding guests. Looks like he sneaked into this wedding!

Modern art dons the walls from super high ceilings, and the bar and private event rooms are equally ample in photo opportunities.
