Autumn is the most vibrant and colorful time of year. Couples dare to be edgier in their fall wedding decor and color palettes. And Whitaker & Atlantic, a new industrial Raleigh wedding venue, lends itself to the rich, warm tones of autumn. Today we are sharing some fall wedding inspiration in navy and gold, accompanied by vibrant pops of color.
The new, hippest event space in Raleigh is Whitaker and Atlantic. This industrial Raleigh wedding venue manages to sport a chic minimalist design, with several funky decor details that flow seamlessly. This is a room that was designed for events – especially weddings. It is a project of Coleen Speaks, owner of PoshNosh Catering. PoshNosh is the on site caterer at Whitaker and Atlantic and its kitchen is shared by Hummingbird Raleigh – which you probably already know as one of your fave all day eatery/bar destinations in Raleigh!
The Whitaker and Atlantic event venue is a large room with two-story ceilings, that can host large scale events. A staircase leads up to a loft that features a bridal suite. An entire wall of the venue is garage doors, that open onto a patio that in one direction leads to Hummingbird and Lynnwood Brewing Concern, and in the other direction, the Loading Dock.
The room can be sectioned off into smaller event spaces, or opened up for large ones with a band or dance floor. Special details like funky mirrors, wallpaper and lighting fixtures are meshed with shiny piping that preserves the industrial vibe. We especially adore the uber modern custom bar at Whitaker and Atlantic. It is a centerpiece of this industrial Raleigh wedding venue. Guests enjoy cocktails under gold pendant lights, seated in chic brown leather bar stools.
Hazel Weddings & Events created this fall wedding styled shoot and Live View Studios captured it on film. The romantic tabletop at this faux wedding celebration is steeped in vibrant fall wedding inspiration. Raleigh wedding florist Eclectic Sage created lush floral arrangements in autumn hues to pop off of the navy velvet linen from CE Rental. Accents of ruby red, bush, marigold yellow and actual mandarin oranges spring from the greenery. Minimal modern white china keeps the focus on the colors of the design. And bamboo chairs from Cottage Luxe tie in to the custom wooden bar of the industrial Raleigh wedding venue, Whitaker & Atlantic.
You might recognize the couple, as they are both fitness models. They are also a real couple – Bree Branker and CJ Koegel!
She is radiant in her edgy Tara La Tour gown from local downtown Raleigh wedding dress shop, Gilded Bridal. Her hair is adorned with a floral hair piece, crafted by Eclectic Sage. The groom, CJ Koegel, is in a laid back look. For a funky wedding vibe, dark blue jeans and a navy blazer are a great groom look.
For their final portaits, the happy couple poses by a macrame wedding ceremony backdrop surrounded by greenery and the same fall blooms. Eclectic Sage crafted this, along with a romantic table with a vibrant fall centerpiece, set beside her own hand-made candles.
