Forest Hall at Chatham Mills: A Picture of Rustic Elegance
Forest Hall at Chatham Mills located in Pittsboro, North Carolina made for the perfect venue for Rocio and Jorge’s reception. Everything about the venue was what the couple wanted. From the exposed brick walls, huge windows, warm wooden floors and the fairy lights twinkling from above, Forest Hall at Chatham Mills was the perfect place for the couple and their guests to dance the night away.
“One of our favorite things about Forrest Hall at Chatham Mills was the character that the venue has and we knew we wouldn’t need too much decoration,” said Rocio. “We had recently gotten into growing succulents and knew we wanted those to be our favors. The theme we decided on was rustic elegance. Everything about the décor was personal.”
In addition to the rentals from CE Rental, the couple decorated the rustic chic venue with touches of pink, white, and included natural eucalyptus to make the already beautiful venue even more perfect.

A Special Touch Found in DIY Details
Some of the most special things about Jorge and Rocio’s day could be found in all the personalized do-it-yourself details that the bride and groom included in both their ceremonies and reception.
Details began to appear during the couple’s Sacred Heart Church ceremony. “My father-in-law built the arch for our Baha’i Ceremony and my mom put together all of the flowers for the day,” Rocio said.
While the details of the ceremony were special to the bride and groom, Rocio explained that the most personal touch lined the aisle.
“Our most personal touch was the rose petals that lined the aisle for our Baha’i Ceremony–I saved and dried all of the rose petals from all of the roses that Jorge ever gave me and we lined the ceremony with them.”
Rocio’s DIY skills were also showcased at the reception and other details of the wedding day.
“I designed and printed the invitations, signs, and seating charts myself,” Rocio said. “I also made all of the candles myself scented with eucalyptus to match the eucalyptus in the centerpieces.”
The DIY didn’t stop with decorations. For their wedding favors, the bride and groom decided to let love grow. “We grew and planted the succulents ourselves in pots we painted,” Rocio said. “We painted all of the jars and tied all of the bows on them.”

A Day to Remember Captured by Morgan Caddell
The couple’s beautiful day-of wedding photos were captured by Morgan Caddell Photography. Morgan not only captured the commitment between the couple but also took time to photograph some fun moments during the festivities as well. According to Rocio, “Morgan was so great to work with.”
From the first look to the first dance and even an ice cream break, Morgan perfectly captured Rocio and Jorge’s personalities and their wedding.

Today, Rocio and Jorge are living happily ever after in Charlotte, NC. Rocio is a student at UNC Charlotte and a volunteer coordinator and Jorge is a structural engineer.
