About

Located just off Main Street in Franklinton, North Carolina, The Carolina Manor House hosted a grand opening in Oct. 12, 2023. The Queen Anne-style home, originally the Dr. J.H. Harris House, was built in 1902 and finished in 1904. Dr. HArris treated patients and delivered babies in the house for 20 years. Mason Street Partners developed the property – its 25th in Franklinton – as the culmination of three years of development along Main Street. The renovated house is nestled on a 10-acre lot and now accommodates events inside and out thanks to a landscaped amphitheater that can seat 800-1,000. There’s also a grand hall that can hold 200 guests, a wine cellar and four treehouses that can sleep four guests each.

Home to a number of trees that are more than 200 years old, the venue is rich in natural beauty and history. Joe Farrell, managing partner of Mason Street Partners, says that the wedding hall “looks very much like it goes with the house, but it could also look like a modern farmhouse.” His wife, Stephanie Farrell, oversaw the interior design of the property.
