With the help of friends and an alpaca, Austin proposed to Addair at Highgrove Estate NC. Austin knew that Addair’s favorite animal is an alpaca and surprised her on the set of the styled wedding shoot! Having already played dress up as bride and groom at this romantic venue, why not tie the knot at Highgrove!

Addair and Austin proved that even a classic Southern wedding venue can transformed for a couple with a vision. This NC couple worked together with Highgrove Estate to create “an edgy, moody, bohemian dream.” They achieved this modern boho look by adding pops of black, grey and burgundy to a “sea of muted greenery.” Highgrove’s beautiful outdoor ceremony and indoor reception spaces allowed Addair and Austin to plan an intimate and family-oriented wedding day. Getting Wedding Ready in Gilded Bridal at Highgrove Estate NC

Every bride deserves to wear a wedding dress that makes them feel beautiful and confident. Addair went to Gilded Bridal salon to find “the one”. Located in Glenwood South area of Raleigh, Gilded is one of the coolest bridal boutiques in NC. Insert Susan Langford. Owner of Gilded Bridal, Susan is a breath of fresh air. Upon meeting Susan, NC brides immediately feel warm and welcome.

Gilded Bridal believes in independent women who like to keep it real. They believe that finding a wedding dress should be a relaxed, fun experience. It’s no wonder that bride Addair said yes to the dress here. She chose a modern, boho chic gown with plunging necklines and soft flowing skirts. Addair looked natural and gorgeous in her wedding dress. After the ceremony she switched into a classic pair of converses to dance the night away with friends and family!

Romantic Ballroom Wedding Reception in at Highgrove Estate Fuquay-Varina, NC

Addair and Austin wanted to share their vows at sunset, which meant a later wedding ceremony time! After a 6:30pm wedding ceremony, they quickly escorted their guests to dinner in the Highgrove Estate ballroom. Tables covered in dusky gray linens and black folded napkins with a pop of burgundy greeted guests. Eucalyptus leaves interspersed with burgundy and white blossoms made for beautiful floral centerpieces. The ballroom had a magical glow that evening from drapery covered twinkle lights and crystal chandeliers. Every detail of this bohemian wedding came together elegantly in the Highgrove’s romantic ballroom.
