Lisa and Joe’s vision of a black tie affair wedding at The Umstead Hotel was everything and more. Not only was the bride’s gown a complete masterpiece by Inbal Dror, her bridesmaids were as elegant as can be in long black gowns. The groomsmen and groom looked ever so sharp in classic black and white tuxedos. The attire of the wedding party was simply stunning, and being that the bride and groom were coming from NY, it’s no wonder that the classic black wedding party look was what they decided on.

While Lisa and Joe hosted their wedding ceremony at The Umstead outdoors on the lawn, they forwent their dream of a tented reception and instead used the venues incredible ballroom for their celebrations. With the help of Raleigh florist, Watered Garden Florist, and their amazing wedding planner – the space indoors was expertly transformed into a secret garden feel. Sure enough, this wedding at The Umstead Hotel was a dream!
