Amanda, the bride, wanted their wedding day to be filled with gorgeous burgundy florals throughout the ceremony and reception site. The outdoorsy bohemian vibe of the luxurious blooms and greenery that were put together for the occasion perfectly accented the gorgeous outdoor areas at The Umstead Hotel and Spa. The couple enlisted the help of Raleigh wedding planning and design team, A Southern Soiree, who built on the natural elements of the venue, mixing its plentiful greenery and with the burgundy accents of the florals.

A custom floral and tree arbor looked stunning on the ceremony site on lawn at The Umstead Hotel and Spa. The tree bark, floral and greenery leaves of the arbor seamlessly blended with the tree backdrop for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The arbor framed the gorgeous water fountain centered in the sparkling lake that serves as a wedding backdrop. The wooded area and lake perfectly encapsulates the spirit of nature and creates an stunning outdoorsy chic wedding location for a boho bride, like Amanda.

Fall Floral Ballroom Wedding Reception at The Umstead Hotel and Spa

After they said “I do,” the couple celebrated their wedding with family and friends in the spacious ballroom at The Umstead Hotel and Spa. With soaring ceilings and a gorgeous terrace area that accompanies the ballroom, this is one of the most coveted wedding venues in the Raleigh area. One of the only 5 star properties in NC, the Umstead is also revered for its outstanding service during special events.

Going off the boho wedding theme, the tablescapes of the wedding reception were filled with custom wood carving name place cards, wooden charger plates, and fall floral decor expertly paired by A Southern Soiree.
