The European-inspired charm of The Bradford in New Hill, North Carolina, captured their hearts when they stumbled upon it while scrolling on Instagram. “When I saw The Bradford on my IG feed, I knew we had to book it immediately,” Cherie says. The couple had family ties in Augusta, Georgia, while living in California, therefore they decided to tie the knot on the East Coast. On February 21, 2022, Cherie and Leo exchanged vows and celebrated their union at The Bradford, a venue that surpassed their expectations. Operated by C&D Events, the venue became a backdrop for an unforgettable experience. The couple enlisted the assistance of C&D Events planner Whitney Davis to orchestrate their day, even though they were planning from out of state. Whitney’s attention to detail and impeccable style ensured that every moment was flawlessly executed.
Honoring Traditions: The Chinese Tea Ceremony






Cherie and Leo embraced their cultural heritage by incorporating a traditional Chinese tea ceremony into their wedding day. The couple extended their gratitude and respect to family members, serving them tea as a symbol of acceptance and unity. This beautiful gesture allowed both families to warmly welcome each other into their lives.

Following their traditional Chinese tea ceremony, Cherie and Leo infused their personalities into a modern wedding ceremony and reception. creating a vibrant and personalized ambiance. With the help of Whitney, they designed a colorful celebration featuring an origami photo booth backdrop and napkins adorned with images of their beloved pets—cats Mister and Nala, and their dog, Mellie. To further personalize the event, guests indulged in the couple’s favorite espresso drinks: Cherie’s iced rose lavender latte and Leo’s iced mocha. These thoughtful details added an extra layer of joy and warmth to the already unforgettable occasion.



Nasim from Lilac Floral delighted Cherie and Leo with her expertise and creativity. Her guidance throughout the planning process, even when their plans shifted, proved invaluable.
