Getting Ready for the Beaufort NC Wedding at the John C. Mason House

The bride and her lovely bridesmaids got ready for the special day in true Southern fashion at the ceremony site. The John C. Mason House is a historic property that looks like it’s straight out of the pages of Southern Living Magazine.

Crisp white monogrammed robes and mimosa in hand, the ladies looked stunning in their wedding day hair and makeup. The groomsmen lounged on the Southern porch before the ceremony as well.

Finding the Wedding Dress of Your “Southern Girl Dreams” at NC Bridal Salon Coastal Knot

Bride Alex looked stunning in a fairytale A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline covered in semi-sheer lace from Coastal Knot, a bridal salon in Raleigh, Shallotte, and Wilmington NC. This wedding dress was graced with the kind of delicate details that could have been stitched by grandma on the front porch. Softly capped lace sleeves and a cathedral length veil gave Alex a modest and gorgeous bridal look.

Beaufort NC Wedding Ceremony at the John C. Mason House

The ceremony took place outside on the romantic grounds of the John C. Mason House. A bohemian rug blanketed the aisle with massive oak tree branches above, giving the ceremony a intimate vintage atmosphere.

The white-based color palette created a natural wedding look that is both traditional and fresh. Splashes of red, pink, and maroon accent colors looked elegant in contrast with the white palette. Guests were welcomed into the ceremony site by a vibrant greenery wreath decked in pink and red roses hanging on a perfectly Southern white picket fence.

Wedding Party Portraits in Beaufort NC

Following the ceremony, breathtaking photos of the wedding party taken beneath massive live oaks on the Beaufort NC wedding venue seem to whisper stories of sweet promises shared by lovers long gone.

In contrast with the bride’s classic all-white gown, the bridesmaid dresses were dipped in a deeply majestic eat-your-heart-out maroon. Each bridesmaid wore a whimsical maroon dress with varying necklines that fit each of their unique figures and styles. The bridesmaids held exquisite white floral arrangements next to groomsmen in navy suits with matching maroon ties. This Beaufort Wedding bridal party is the definition of Southern Charm and style.

The groom and his groomsmen looked dapper in their classic black formal wear.
