Classic Modern Wedding at Angus Barn

While the outdoor wedding ceremony and the reception were both at the famous Angus Barn Pavilion in Raleigh, NC, the wedding party prepared for the special day at The Umstead Hotel and Spa. Both venue locations were picture perfect for the couple’s wedding day.

The bridal party wore neutral beige long gowns that were perfectly complimented with gorgeous blush and ivory bouquets. The groomsman wore classic black tuxedos with coordinating neutral beige bowties.

The beautiful ceremony was held outside at the Angus Barn Pavilion and it couldn’t have been a more classic scene. With tall columns with bountiful white floral arrangements throughout their ceremony site, classic white seating, and their family and friends surrounding, the couple’s nuptials were nothing short of dreamy.

The reception was held indoors at the Angus Barn Pavilion. All onsite weddings are catered by Angus Barn, which is one of the biggest selling points of the space (Angus Barn catering is only available at their two wedding and event spaces – Angus Barn in Raleigh, and Bay 7 in Durham). Angus Barn is known for top quality service in everything they do. They actually staff their events with a higher waiter to guest ratio than is standard. The result is a seamless affair which will not go unnoticed.

Of course, another selling point is the beautiful space. The rustic look of the Angus Barn Pavilion is very desirable for NC weddings. But that doesn’t mean that the decor has to be rustic. The space easily lends itself to an elegant tone. Gather Together continued the modern classic wedding vision throughout the reception. With blush and coral tones that were accented with just a touch of sparkle with the linens and beautiful lighting by Party Reflections, the reception was an understated and tastefully glitzy affair.
