Photographer Danielle Volk says that she thrives on the energy of a wedding day, and we totally agree! We’ve partnered with Danielle for several of our own styled wedding photo shoots (like this beautiful, colorful styled wedding at Melrose Knitting Mill and this one at Haven Farm) and she always brings the best, calm yet positive energy to the day.

Danielle first discovered her passion for photography as a journalism student at UNC. She focused on portraiture and family sessions before switching her focus fully to weddings.

Danielle’s photography style is bright, colorful and true-to-life. She focuses on capturing wedding images that are classic and won’t look like they’re out of style when you browse your wedding albums in ten or twenty years. Beyond this, Danielle is a problem solver on wedding days. She takes pride in being a helpful hand throughout the day, always there to help adjust your dress or calm nerves.
