Scratch-made & Family Owned. Sweet Southern Wedding Cakes Since 1982
Edible Art Bakery & Dessert Cafe has been serving beautifully delicious wedding cakes to Raleigh, NC and beyond since 1982. Today, Edible Art is run by a full family – mother, father, and two daughters. Sisters Mindy Davisson and Erin Seabolt run the day to day operations, including meeting with couples – and Erin is actually the Head Chef. Their parents, Jeff and Heather Glatfelter are heavily involved in behind the scenes operations.
The distinctive taste of this NC bakery and dessert cafe is a product of love and dedication from a Southern family owned team. They pride themselves on using only high quality, natural ingredients for each of their scratch-made wedding desserts. But that only covers the first part of their title, Edible Art is exactly what their name says, “Art”. Get ready for a wedding cake with detailed icing art, stunning garnishes, and elegant designs.
Edible Art believes that wedding desserts should be as special as you are. Before designing your dessert, you’ll schedule an in-person consultation and tasting with you and your partner. Their team can accommodate up to three people for a tasting, so that your foodie friend can come to and add their two cents! Bring any pictures or ideas on what kind of wedding cake or dessert buffet you have in mind. This incredible baking team can incorporate your wedding colors, theme, and any special details into your cake. That includes swatches of fabric or jewelry!
This friendly, family-owned business is anything but modest in their baking skills, fabulous flavors and customer service. Whether you want a famous pound cake, traditional buttercream flavored cake or something a little more modern like strawberry margarita – Edible Art will deliver your wildest dessert dreams.
