Located on the picturesque school campus, Saint Mary’s Chapel is a true NC gem. This lovely, historic white chapel is available for wedding rental from both alumnae and non-alumnae of the school. The Raleigh wedding chapel can host up to 230 guests.

Pair your ceremony with one of nearby reception facilities in Raleigh. For example, view this real wedding which took place at Saint Mary’s followed by an Angus Barn reception. Or, stay on campus for your entire wedding! There is indoor space for rent. Or, host a tented soiree on the well-manicured lawn.

Saint Mary’s Chapel in Raleigh – for Wedding Ceremony Rentals

In 1856, Saint Mary’s Chapel was built. Even today, its Gothic Revival structure is gorgeous to behold. The steep gable roof, lovely octagonal stained glass window over the door, and the gabled entryway are all original. It was enlarged in 1905 to its current format.

Saint Mary’s has an Episcopal affliation, but weddings of other denominations are welcome. Consider hiring an organ player or pianist to accompany the ceremony!

In addition to the chapel, Saint Mary’s books private events in many other campus facilities. This includes its Ragland and Pittman Auditoriums. Bring your caterer and planner of choice. But please note, this campus is for non-alcoholic events only.
