The Barn of Chapel Hill

The Barn of Chapel Hill is a twenty-two-acre farm wedding venue. A local family restored this historic white barn with Southern weddings in mind. Best of all, it’s located on a working flower farm. You and your guests will relish in the polished gardens. Also, couples love using the onsite wedding florist to design their day. The Barn of Chapel Hill – Wedding Venue on a Flower Farm

The barn on the property is a historic structure, originally built in 1864. Owner Kara Brewer moved the barn from New York to NC in 2016. Then, she modernized it, to create a perfect setting for Chapel Hill barn wedding celebrations. With sky-high ceilings, rustic beauty and brilliant landscaping around the farm, the venue creates a beautiful backdrop for any wedding event.

Open a wall of french doors to the main reception area inside the barn. The barn features a 35-foot vaulted ceiling and an open floor plan. Host up to 200 seated guests, or 250 for a casual cocktail style event. On property is also a lovely bridal suite to get ready for the day ahead!

Wild Flora Farm – the on-site florist 

The farm’s flower fields and orchards create a beautiful backdrop to wedding ceremonies and receptions while also providing a convenient in-house florist option.

Wild Flora Farm is a local NC flower farm specializes in cut flowers, honey and hosts educational farm tours and floral workshops. But the best part is, the talented lead designer is ready to create absolutely stunning floral designs for your wedding day at The Barn of Chapel Hill. Her style is loose, flowy garden designs, which is en vogue in today’s weddings.

Wild Flora Farm also works with local bee maven, Bee Downtown, with an onsite hive. The Wild Flora local NC flowers are natural pollinators for the bees!
