Dutch Inspired NC Farm Venue – a Het Landhuis Wedding

Het Landhuis is a country home, farm wedding venue near Chapel Hill. It is nestled on 62 acres in Pittsboro NC, near Siler City and Chapel Hill. It is surrounded by rolling fields, woods, and a pond. The Het Landhuis wedding venue has a total of eight buildings, all of which were restored with European flair that embraced Dutch influences. “It is a place where you can still see the Milky Way at night and the air is filled with the soothing sounds of nature.”

The bride shared, “We chose this beautiful NC wedding venue because we love to be outside, and the grounds are breathtaking, especially the ceremony space. I wanted to create a romantic theme for our Het Landhuis wedding; the lush, greenery surrounding us for our ceremony made the space very intimate and special.”

There was no doubt in the couple’s minds that they wanted their reception at their Het Landhuis wedding to be outdoors on the gorgeous fields of the Pittsboro wedding venue. With a grand tented area, hanging chandeliers, accents of marsala and personal calligraphy place cards, the Het Landhuis wedding reception was perfectly romantic. The couple had Catering Works, a Raleigh wedding caterer, create a spectacular menu for their guests- including a hand crafted traditional Lithuanian Boilo from a family recipe to toast.
