She realized that while pet concierge services existed in Charlotte and Greensboro, North Carolina, there was a gap in Raleigh – so she launched Dogs Like Ash, becoming the first to offer this unique service in the area.

Dogs Like Ash is a bespoke service, meaning Ashley works closely with couples to determine exactly how they want their pet involved in their wedding. The process starts with a discovery call to learn everything about the pet: their schedule, personality, allergies, anxieties and motivators.
From there, Ashley will customize a day-of timeline that’s best for your pet. For example, you may want your dog present just for photos, while others walk down the aisle or stay through cocktail hour.
What Should Couples Pack for Their Pets?
Ashley handles everything from transporting the pet to and from the venue to making sure they’re comfortable, well-fed and dressed for the occasion. Dogs Like Ash offers a collection of leashes, bow ties, floral collars and other accessories that couples can borrow. Many couples also bring their pet’s own items, like favorite treats or toys, to ensure their comfort. Ashley always comes prepared with backup supplies, but she encourages couples to bring anything that helps their pet feel at ease.
