Centerpieces that Tell a Story by Raleigh, NC Wedding Florist, Bloom Works
While most western weddings take place on one specific day, many Indian weddings last over the course of several days. Which means, flowers and decor must have endurance as well as beauty! Raleigh, NC wedding florist, Bloom Works, can design floral centerpieces that are tall and strong. For example, the incredible floral centerpiece pictured above has no chance of falling down. We love that Bloom Works attached floating tea candles to the sides of this floral centerpiece. When nighttime falls, this centerpiece would cast a romantic glow upon guests while they eat dinner. As you can see, popular flower colors for Indian weddings include red, orange, yellow and purple. The brighter the better. However, do not wear red to an Indian wedding because that is reserved for the bride!
Colorful Decor & Tablescapes by Raleigh, NC Wedding Florist Bloom Works
Lime green napkins and sea blue dinner menus complement this Indian wedding design elegantly. CE Rental store supplied crystal china and glassware to complete this sweetheart table table setting. Instead of using a colorful linen, Bloom Works created a tablecloth made out of flowers to blanket this tabletop. Other beautiful decor items such as a luxurious white carpet, boho stools, pillows and lanterns from ThemeWorks. Wondering if ThemeWorks has any connection with Bloom Works? You’re right! These two companies are branches of an incredible wedding entity that includes a cake and venue division. Together, Bloom Works and ThemeWorks are able to combine resources and creative insight to design wedding excellence.
Garlands of Indian Wedding Flowers by Bloom Works, Raleigh Florist
Hanging from vibrantly colored parasols are delicate, orange and yellow garlands of flowers. Traditionally, Indian weddings use blossoms such as roses, carnations, marigolds and orchids to be strung together on pieces of string. Not only do these flower garlands serve as beautiful decor, they are also ceremonially placed upon the bride and groom. The flower garlands represent happiness and beauty – all tied together on a necklace symbolizing the unity of marriage. Bloom Works chose to drape each flower garland from a metal tree-like structure along with delicate tea candles. Below the garlands sits a joyful floral arrangement that is spilling over with thrilling, purple blossoms and greenery!
Wedding Fashion from Gilded Bridal and Bernard’s Formalwear
To clarify, neither the bride or groom in this styled shoot is wearing traditional Indian wedding attire. The bride is wearing a Sawyer Embroidered Gown designed by Alexandra Grecco and sold at Gilded Bridal in Raleigh. From the daring deep V-neckline to the faux cape back, this gown is truly one of a kind. Bella Trio Day Spa and Salon designed the bride’s hair into a glamorously loose side curl. The bride’s entire hair and makeup style gives a romantic yet natural wedding day look. Teardrop shaped earrings and a drop down necklace from Bailey’s Fine Jewelry complement the neckline of this Gilded Bridal gown. A beautiful stack of gold and silver bangle bracelets from Bailey’s completes this bride’s wedding attire.
Don’t let your boutonniere be boring!
The groom looks handsome in a grey suit, white dress shirt and rusty orange tie from Bernard’s Formalwear. Unlike classic black suits or tuxedos, grey colored menswear is a great option for spring or summer weddings. The lighter color of a grey suit absorbs less heat and will keep the groom cool and calm. His colorful boutonniere designed by Bloom Works matches the floral design perfectly. Don’t let your boutonniere be boring! Allow for your boutonniere to be an extension of your wedding’s style, theme and design.
We hope you enjoyed this Indian wedding inspo designed by Raleigh, NC wedding florist, Bloom Works.
