Happy wedding Wednesday! Today, we’re excited to share Avery and Dustin’s classic, romantic pretty in pink wedding at Rose Hill Estate in Nashville, NC.

Avery and Dustin met at a dinner hosted by a mutual friend in Wilmington before they all went on a weekend trip to Carowinds amusement park. Little did they know they were about to embark on the ride of a lifetime together!
Classic Southern weddingsDustin proposed on the beach in Wilmington over a seemingly innocent game of hangman in the sand. The word he picked was “sempre,” which means “forever” in Italian. He said he wanted to make it “their word” as he got down on one knee and explained that he wanted to spend forever with Avery. Through tears of joy, she said yes!

The theme for their wedding was classic romance. Blush pink has always been Avery’s favorite color, so it was only fitting for it to be her main wedding color.

After seeing a few different venues, Avery stumbled across Rose Hill Estate on our website! After looking it up, she knew she had to see it in person before deciding on any other place. As soon as she drove up to the house, she instantly knew it would be “their venue.” It was exactly what she imagined. The staff at Rose Hill made the whole process of choosing the details very easy and worked within their timeline perfectly.

Avery’s best advice for brides-to-be is “Don’t stress over the little things…those small details that you think are everything really mean nothing when the day comes. But do remember everything! Take a moment every so often to take it all in because the day goes by in a flash. Before you know it, all those months of planning are gone, the day is over, and you never get to do it again. So, remember it; appreciate it, and love every single moment.”
