Emily and Pat tied the knot at The Garden on Millbrook on September 29, 2012. The couple met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend. After dating for a while, Emily and Pat returned to the restaurant where they’d had their first date, and Pat popped the question! Of course, Emily said yes, and they began planning their fall wedding.
Emily is a wedding planner with Shawn Schindler Weddings & Special Events, so she knew many local venues. She wanted a fun place with great customer service and delicious food, where she and Pat could have both their ceremony and reception. She knew The Garden on Millbrook would be the perfect choice!
A color palette of navy, raspberry and gold was carried throughout the wedding day in the invitations, linens, attire and even the favors. The couple used Southern Bride & Groom and the bride’s knowledge of local wedding professionals to make their big day perfect, and decided to use many members of the SB&G Family, including: The Garden on Millbrook, Shawn Schindler of Shawn Schindler Weddings & Special Events, The English Garden, CE Rental, Anfesa’s Jewelers, and Shutterbooth!
