One tradition that never goes out of style is afternoon tea, and here in the Raleigh-Durham area of NC, there are a few very special places to enjoy this most lovely treat. The ladies who are behind Southern Bride & Groom magazine gathered together for a tea at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill to celebrate our newest team member.
The Carolina Inn has been an historic fixture on the UNC campus for 90 years. The historic Chapel Hill Inn prides itself on keeping traditions alive while modernizing the experience of their patrons. Their Afternoon Tea Service is a delightful and elegant occasion that is a must for anyone in the area. The Inn serves the finest teas and house-made accompaniments that include savory tea sandwiches, assorted sweets, and fresh baked scones served with fresh lemon curd, English Devonshire cream, jams and preserves. Chef Annika Loureiro created the most incredible and unique treats for us to share.
The Carolina Inn graciously welcomed the ladies of Southern Bride & Groom magazine to this delightful tea service to welcome Lindsay to the team.
Lindsay is the new Creative Content Manager at SB&G, so she is the one who is curating our blog, which features oodles of elegant inspiration for your NC wedding. She also manages our social media platform, e-newsletters, and assists with our editorial planning. Lindsay hails from the DC area, where she started her career in social marketing. She recently moved to Raleigh with her fiancé, Josh, to enjoy a smaller town lifestyle where you don’t have to pay to park to go to the mall. When Lindsay is not at work at SB&G, she is either hiking with her pup, getting her heart rate up in a workout class or trying out new delicious spots in downtown Raleigh.
The Carolina Inn hosts tea for all occasions! Whether you are celebrating a bride-to-be, baby shower, or just a get together, their Afternoon Tea Service is the perfect activity to be enjoyed by all.
