Celebrating Love and A Full Life At The Bradford New Hill Wedding Venue
Amanda Bittner and Jacob Chitwood share a true zest for life. As avid travelers, they consider themselves to be “experience collectors” who believe that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. So, when planning their September wedding it’s needless to say that they wanted a venue that was just as full of joy as they are. Since they love exploring the Raleigh area, the couple went to The Bradford New Hill for a Christmas market one year. After they saw photos of the idyllic venue in our magazine, they instantly remembered the wonderful ambiance of The Bradford. They said that they didn’t even need to see other venues before booking since they wanted an elegant, romantic themed wedding.
The French chateau-style of the Bradford fit beautifully with the couple’s dusty rose, white and black wedding colors. And we love it! Seriously, why shouldn’t black be a wedding color? It’s the color of a tux after all. Every design element at the wedding was absolutely stunning. Amanda’s large bouquet was blooming with life and it matched with the florals on the ceremony arbor.
The Most Beautiful Rose in the Garden
Jacob and Amanda met when they were both attending Elon University and quickly began to hang out in the same friend group at school. After they both graduated, their interest in each other had grown and Jacob wasted no time in taking Amanda out on a date during the first week of her job. Ever since, the couple has been exploring and dreaming big together!
On one of their summer night adventures, the couple took a walk in the Raleigh Rose Garden before going out to dinner. Despite getting caught in a torrential downpour on the way there, they continued on and made it to the special Raleigh spot. Jacob, knowing Amanda is a huge fan of The Bachelor, beckoned Amanda over to the most beautiful red rose in the whole garden. After Amanda took a couple of pictures of it she was getting antsy to leave for dinner. That’s when he got down on one knee and popped the question, surrounded by Raleigh’s most gorgeous roses!
Silverceiling Hair and Makeup Emphasize Amanda’s Natural Beauty
Jacob was both excited and nervous as he stood waiting for Amanda to walk down the aisle. Then, she came into view and clarity radiated over Jacob. He felt like he and Amanda were the only people in the world at that moment. He said it was the most breathtaking thing he had ever experienced.
All of the guests were amazed by Amanda’s beauty as well. Her signature stunning long red locks were curled to perfection and her porcelain skin glowed in the sunlight. Award-winning hair and makeup company, Silverceling Beauty Consulting’s expertise truly emphasized Amanda’s natural beauty.
Since starting their business in 2013, Silverceiling Beauty Consulting has been a part of more than 500 beautiful bride’s weddings. The company’s celebrity-trained professionals are honored to be a part of celebrations like Amanda and Jacob’s.
Festive Wedding Reception on The Bradford Terrace
After their delicious rehearsal dinner at Gravy in Raleigh, one of the Empire Eats restaurants, Amanda and Jacob were ready for their special day. From cat escort cardholders in honor of their cat Cleo, a duet from the father and sister of the bride and a live performance by the sister of the groom and the best man, the wedding was filled with incredible personal touches.
Every detail was a testament to the love and joy that surrounded this day especially with the help of CE Rental. CE Rental delivered everything to the venue on the day of and made setup a breeze. Amanda and Jacob were worried about rain, so they requested a clear tent to be installed. CE Rental took care of this and made the tent a beautiful sight by adding lovely market lights. The rental team has the highest standards of customer service and they ensured that every aspect of the wedding was top-notch.
Not to mention that the setting of the wedding was perfectly picturesque. The Bradford’s classic European style is an ideal venue for uniting family and friends in Southern hospitality. The large expanse of lawns in the back area of The Bradford has a huge terrace with pavers ensconced in flowering shrubs and an outer canopy of woods. This terrace was the ideal spot for Amanda and Jacob’s tented event amid the festive lights. Fueled with pizza, pierogies (an ode to Amanda’s hometown, Pittsburgh) and Jacob’s favorite Chicken Pesto Pasta recipe, everyone danced the night away. Amanda and Jacob also loved getting to stay at the venue for the weekend. They said it was magical and made their wedding feel like a weekend-long event!
