A Match Made in Heaven

Susan settled in North Carolina after moving around quite a bit. She connected with Brittany on a dating app went to Raleigh Brewing Company for their first date! This might have been a match made in heaven. Brittany and Susan both work in education and both of their lives changed forever that night at Raleigh Brewing Company.

Susan and Brittany ended up shutting down Raleigh Brewing Company. They talked about everything you’re not supposed to talk about on a first date – politics, faith, kids and more. There was even a brief FaceTime visit from Brittany’s mom! After that night, Susan and Brittany talked every single night until their second date, and the rest is history.

CE Rental – Quality Wedding Rentals

Susan and Brittany used CE Rental for their navy and Cabernet wedding rentals. “CE Rental is one of our favorites, as The Stockroom can be difficult for load-in and load-out, and they did a wonderful job. It was good to have a company that already knows the space.”

CE Rental has a wide variety of wedding rentals, such as specialty linens, fine china, flatware, tables, chairs, catering equipment and extensive tenting options. The Raleigh team has the highest standards of customer service to ensure every aspect of your wedding is top-notch.

Personal Wedding Touches at The Stockroom

Susan and Brittany chose specific people to participate in and make their wedding ceremony special. Their pastor and Brittany’s brother performed readings. In order to represent Brittany’s silly side, a good friend read “The Loveliest Dinosaur” for some humor and love. Susan’s mom made sure to make the couple’s favorite cake balls and decorated a delicious cutting cake for the dessert table. She also made dozens of decorated cookies to send home with all of the guests as a wedding favor. Brittany’s cousin helped the couple choreograph their first dance. Fun fact, Susan used to compete in ballroom dancing!

Other details from the reception included a tasty taco bar by Rocky Top Catering. Susan and Brittany could not resist! “They are one of the best teams that we have worked with and so helpful in any area.” With over 20 years of experience serving the Raleigh and Triangle-area, Rocky Top’s catering team believes that delicious, creative cuisine and exceptional service are essential ingredients in helping make a couple’s event one to remember.

Brittany’s favorite part of the wedding was that she “lost” in the cake smash that she initiated! Susan, on the other hand, cherished a quiet moment alone together on The Glass Box balcony in between the ceremony and reception. It was the perfect chance to revel in the moment.

The couple advises future couples to stay true to you and what you want. Also, don’t compare your wedding to others – even if you’re in two weddings two months before your own!

“Find the vendors and participants who will love you and support you on the day of the wedding, as well as throughout the process.”
