New Hillsborough NC Farm Wedding Venue

Iron Horse is a beautiful new event venue located in Cedar Grove, just 15 minutes north of Hillsborough, NC. Sixteen acres of gorgeous, privately owned farmland offer rustic elegance and peaceful surroundings for a truly Southern wedding affair. While most couples will probably want to have a wedding under the open sky with a tented reception, Iron Horse also has an indoor space that can be used for a rehearsal dinner or backup reception location. The bride and groom may also rent the house and spend the entire weekend there with their nearest and dearest.

Iron Horse recently hosted a launch party for our local community of wedding professionals. They partnered with our friends at American Party Rentals, as well as several local event professionals including Fig & Honey, Farm & Filligree, Spring Forth Farms, yellowDog: creative, Prissy Pots, Coleslaw, and Iron Horse co-owner Matt Fox’s two popular downtown Hillsborough restaurants — LaPlace Louisiana Cookery and The Wooden Nickel Pub.

The event was complemented by the beautiful summer weather, and the attendees were free to sip pink champagne, enjoy live bluegrass, and spark great conversations with industry allies. Iron Horse co-owner Shannon Fox said, “We are so grateful for everyone that came to visit, and for those who helped make the evening such a great success. We are looking forward to being a part of many more celebrations at Iron Horse!”
