Walnut Hill: Family-Owned Barn Wedding Venue in Raleigh with a Historic Farmhouse
One of our favorite barn wedding venues in Raleigh is Walnut Hill. Owner Amanda Peoples has created an incredible NC destination on her family property. The centerpiece of the property is the recently constructed white barn. This space was created to host weddings and private events for up to 200 guests. The beautiful, open space is mutually elegant and rustic. Large windows along the entire back wall showcase lovely views of a pond among pastureland.
The historic farmhouse has become a little haven for your wedding party to use at their leisure while preparing for the ceremony. They have multiple getting ready suites, as well as plenty of space for lounging and relaxing. This includes a classic Southern wrap-around porch, complete with rocking chairs. The front entrance leads to a beautifully manicured lawn with a giant ancient oak tree, which is a very romantic wedding ceremony site. Walnut Hill’s newest addition is a gorgeous open-air chapel. We featured Amanda and her husband Scott Peoples own vow renewal at the new chapel in our 2023 magazine!
