A Royal Wedding Reception at Tryon Palace
Lauren and Ben’s wedding reception at the North Carolina History Center, a part of the historic Tryon Palace, was stunning. Also located in New Bern, and originally the state’s capital, this historic wedding venue transports guests back in time with breathtaking sculpture gardens and architecture along the riverfront.
Following a wedding ceremony at First Presbyterian Church, the New Bern wedding planners designed a chic celebration with a neutral color palette and hints of gold. Anne and Christa helped the couple’s love story shine through delicate details. The team also composed floral arrangements of greenery and pampas grass to give the wedding a fresh fall style that made the large space feel intimate.
“We decided on a combination of tall and short arrangements for the tables,” Anne explains. “Then we brought the ceiling down by hanging an enormous grass chandelier, and finally we dropped the entire back wall to create a softer look.”
“I was truly lost for words when I saw every single detail we discussed come to life, and it was more magnificent than I could have ever imagined,” Lauren says. “Everything down to the very last second was perfection, we will forever cherish our most special night.”
