Your Guide to Selecting Rehearsal Dinner Venues

This guide is all about where to host rehearsal dinners in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and NC. The possibilities are as endless! In the end, your choice will depend on the type of event you want to host! Large or small, intimate dinner or dance party, there is a venue for everybody.

In our directory, we include many different types of venues across our state. Peruse dozens of fine restaurants with private event spaces, absolutely perfect for rehearsal dinners. Additionally, don’t rule out the event spaces that you think of as wedding reception venues. These can also be utilized for the rehearsal dinner. In fact, many have special rehearsal dinner packages. Hopefully, you’ll find your perfect location!

Restaurants with Event Space for Rehearsal Dinners in Raleigh, Durham, Cary and Chapel Hill

For convenience and cost, most couples choose a restaurant with private event space for the rehearsal dinner. If you’re getting married in the NC Triangle this is an especially appealing option. After all, we are quite the “foodie” area!

Usually, the rehearsal dinner is a relatively intimate gathering of family and wedding party members. For events of up to 50 guests, it’s easy to see why restaurants are so popular. The private event spaces that some restaurants have are cozy enough where everyone can mingle – and also hear the speeches.

Also, restaurants are great event options because almost everything you need is onsite. The food is the centerpiece of most rehearsal dinners, and that’s covered. Restaurants already have tables, chairs, linen and flatware – so no need to rent. (That is, unless you want to upgrade!)

NC Wedding Venues as Rehearsal Dinner Venues

For many, the rehearsal dinner has become a larger event. This is especially true if the couple has a very large family, or a large number of people who are traveling from out of town. In these cases, it is expected for everyone to be invited. Sometimes, it is simply a matter of preference to host a big rehearsal dinner party.

Clearly, we are all about a party here at Heart of NC Weddings. So we want you to keep all of our fabulous wedding venues in mind for your rehearsal dinner. Many of the traditional reception locations offer special rates for Thursday and Friday night events. As mentioned above, many even offer rehearsal dinner packages with a group of their favorite vendors.

Please note, many of our venues can also be considered even if you are hosting a smaller rehearsal dinner. For example, a hotel or resort might have a smaller private event space you don’t yet know about.

We advise touring venues with both events in mind!
