Carolina Trace Country Club is surrounded by stunning views of Lake Trace and pristine golf greens. This country club venue is situated within a gated community in Sanford, North Carolina. Whether your vision is an elegant, seated dinner in the Grand Ballroom, a sprawling reception throughout the Club or an intimate lakeside affair, Carolina Trace has it all. The Club is also home to two eighteen-hole golf courses.
Carolina Trace’s main clubhouse features 30,000 square feet of event space. A grand ballroom can accommodate 200 guests, while the lake lawn provides a beautiful outdoor setting for as many as 400 guests.

The team oversees setup, cleanup, day-of coordinating and planning and catering. Included are also event rentals, a built-in dance floor, on-site parking, wireless internet, and chairs, tables, glassware, utensils and floor-length linen.
A team of chefs caters events at Carolina Trace. The venue does offer custom menu options to build a menu to your tastes. All food and alcohol must be served through the club. Carolina Trace offers options to cater traditional cultural cuisine like Indian or Mexican food.

Carolina Trace Country Club was established in 1972 while the community was under construction. After a fire damaged the structure in 2008, the club was rebuilt the following year. In 2017, the club underwent renovations to improve the experience for both members and guests. This included fresh paint inside and out, grounds upgrades and a state-of-the-art fitness.
