“My favorite part of any wedding is when the guests walk in and say ‘This is so them!’,” says Becky Chapman, owner and lead planner of Lily Rose Events. “Weddings should showcase the couple that is being celebrated, and invite their guests into an experience that demonstrates that.” 

Each Lily Rose Events wedding tells a story of the couple, from personal details to entertainment, florals and tablescapes. “I love including familial and cultural traditions, songs that highlight important moments and celebrating not only the couple, but the family and friends that support them,” Becky says.

Becky and her team believe that every couple has a story to celebrate, and use that story to draw guests in. Lily Rose Events offers event management services (often referred to as “day of” coordination), full-service planning and partial planning packages for those who need something in between.

“With any of our packages, we are a resource as couples select their vendors,” Becky says. “We really shine with the full service planning package, as we get to help couples select the vendor team that suits them best, from design and personality to budget.” Having an experienced and professional vendor team that understands a couple’s vision makes the day run more smoothly for everyone. “Being involved early on, our team is able to build trust and solve any hiccups before they become bigger issues,” Becky says.

Behind the scenes, Becky and her team work diligently alongside vendors to confirm details and logistics, building timelines and layouts with couples to ensure that their dream wedding can be fully realized. Becky and her team of professionals have planned weddings at more than 75 venues throughout North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Washington, DC. “Some of our favorite weddings have taken place at private residences, where we create unique spaces and ‘pop-up’ venues in a backyard,” Becky says. “Wherever our clients want to go, we’re up for the ride.”
