Triangle-based wedding and event planning team Sincerely Chic Events serves couples in Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh, as well as destinations all over the world. Best friends Anne DiBartolo-Ortiz and Jenn Walsh met in high school and later founded the business together based on their shared dream to curate stunning soirees. Sincerely Chic offers full-service and custom planning packages and event management for weddings, plus social celebrations (think milestone birthdays, showers and engagement parties).

The Sincerely Chic Events team works to ensure each couple feels excited for their big day rather than stressed. “We treat every wedding as the grandest event – because to us, it is – and we genuinely believe planning should feel fun, not frantic,” Jenn says. Clients describe them as their wedding confidantes, and that’s exactly how they approach the relationship – with thoughtful check-ins, honest guidance and a calm presence when the to-do list feels overwhelming. “We also have bilingual (Spanish-speaking) planners on the team, which has been such a gift to the Latino couples and families we’ve had the joy of working with,” Jenn adds.

Stylistically, Jenn, Anne and their team lean into timeless celebrations with personality. “We love color, intentional details and design choices that feel uniquely you rather than copied and pasted from a Pinterest board,” Jenn says. The team’s goal is to design something that feels grounded in who you are as a couple; elevated, but never stiff, whether that’s a black-tie affair in downtown Raleigh, a coastal weekend in the Outer Banks, a mountain wedding or a destination celebration on the Amalfi Coast.

Jenn and Anne love to work with couples who want to be present at their own wedding. They truly connect with those who have a clear vision (or want help finding one), value thoughtful design and are ready to hand off the logistics to a team they trust so they can actually soak in the day when it arrives. “We love couples who bring their personalities to the planning process; the storytellers, the travelers, the ones who care just as much about how their guests feel as how the tablescape looks,” Jenn says. “If that sounds like you, we’d love to chat.”
