Something Fabulous Weddings & Events has served central North Carolina couples for more than six years. The diverse team of 12 planners focuses on creative, fun event design and meticulous logistics. Co-owners Ashley McElroy and Trent Crumpler take pride in managing all aspects of weddings, offering services from budget management to event logistics and design. Ashley, Trent and the Something Fabulous team can oversee your day-of timeline, help create floorplans and so much more, whether you require partial- or full-service wedding planning. 

Something Fabulous’ lead coordinators also work with couples who need event management, stepping in about three months ahead of the big day to assist. No matter which level of planning suits you, Something Fabulous always ensures that two team members will be on-site during your wedding day.

Of course, problem solving is a key skill wedding planners must have to make sure everything goes according to plan. “It is inevitable that something is going to change throughout the event and our role is to make sure it goes smoothly,” Trent says. “When creating event timelines, we always add a small buffer time so we can adjust when the photos go longer than expected, when the caterer needs longer to plate the salads, or when a toast that was meant to be three minutes turns into 15.”

Something Fabulous loves to think a little bit outside of the box and bring to life unique events that are all about celebrating the couple. The team is based in the Triangle, but has traveled across the South and beyond!
