Nora Anaya and her husband Hans Vargas opened their restaurant, Ta’ Contento, in 2022 near Cole Park Plaza in Chapel Hill. The couple had started collaborating on a food truck in 2019, after tying the knot that year. Nora, who immigrated from Bolivia in 2016, was in the midst of earning her Master’s degree from UNC when she met Hans. Now, the pair are working side by side to offer inventive and creative Mexican and Latin American dishes from their brick-and-mortar location, while also maintaining their original food truck. Ta’ Contento’s wedding catering options are varied and flavorful, just like their regular menus.
