The Colonial Inn Accommodations

The Colonial Inn has stood on King Street since 1838 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As the only remaining antebellum hotel in Hillsborough, it reflects generations of history, having endured nearly two centuries of change.

Its original windows have been restored and returned to their original settings, while its interior details such as fireplace mantels, baseboards and door frames have been refreshed. The second floor is home to seven uniquely designed guest rooms, each offering its own charm. The overall design blends neoclassical style with a comfortable, accommodating feel.
