Only dozen miles from downtown Chapel Hill sits The Barn of Chapel Hill at Wild Flora Farm. It’s situated on 22 acres of a working flower farm, design studio and apiary. Wild Flora Flowers is one of the most unique full-service florists in the Triangle area. Owner Kara Brewer opened the venue a little more than five years ago. The farm has been supplying weddings on the property and at other NC wedding venues with custom fresh floral designs ever since.
Wild Flora Farm Creative Director Christine Wilkinson says that Wild Flora specializes in garden-like floral designs that showcase beautiful pops of color and a whimsical element inspired by wildflowers. The Wild Flora team also loves to create one-of-a-kind wearable florals including headpieces and bracelets (Christine and her team know how to elevate these fashionable pieces lightyears beyond basic boutonnieres).
No matter what amount of floral design you need, Wild Flora Farm offers something for any budget. Choose from full-service and a la carte options for events at the farm and off-site. Of course, the Wild Flora team excels at decorating The Barn’s spaces and knows exactly how to make the venue shine. Wild Flora is also known locally for their exceptional custom installations including floating arrangements and opulent ceremony backdrops.
Want to get a first-hand look at the farm and meet members of the floral design team? Grab a few friends and sign up for one of Wild Flora’s floral workshops that take place frequently throughout the year.
