Dipped in Honey, Jewel Tone Wedding Design by C and D Events at The Parlour at Manns Chapel
Tucked away in the pinewood forests of Chapel Hill, there’s a little chapel where folks go to say “I do.” When the hands on the clock reach that magic hour, the sun dips everything into its warm honey light. Yellows become golden mustard and reds transform themselves into a juicy shade of cranberry. North Carolina’s landscape takes on the vibrant color of harvest time. This age-old Southern scene inspired our local Heart of NC Weddings vendors to design this jewel tone wedding inspiration.
Led by Becca Taylor of C and D Events, NC wedding vendors created a romantic wedding design with earthy intentions. Fancy This Photography captured stunning snapshots of models Julia Perniciaro and Kevin Gomez-Gonzalez, real life sweethearts. Julia understands the whimsical ways of the wedding industry, as she is the daughter of Wedding Hair by Liz owner! The Parlour at Manns Chapel – Intimate Wedding Venue Rich in Love
As the bride steps across the vintage threshold of The Parlour, her timeless beauty seems born for this moment. Her dark hair and porcelain skin contrast elegantly against the gown’s lace bodice. The groom looks equally handsome. His confidence and charm fill his navy slim-fit suit with a graceful ease. Their genuine love for one another sets the chapel’s soul aglow. The Parlour at Manns Chapel was originally built in 1887, but resurrected from inevitable decay by beloved owners Yvette and Aimee. This Chapel Hill wedding and event venue offers guests an intimate atmosphere of old and new. Warm pine floors, stained glass windows and vintage chandeliers look beautiful when paired with a rich jewel tone color palette.
Jewel Tone Wedding Design by Becca Taylor of C and D Events
There’s no denying that jewel tone color palettes have been trending on today’s wedding scene. Local wedding planner, Becca Taylor of C and D Events completely understands why! Rich hues of gold and mauve are not only romantic beyond belief, but they complement vintage and rustic wedding venues. Changing seasons and the celebration of harvest inspired Becca to design a wedding that honors earth and young love. Her vision is alive in this sweetheart table design. From the vintage, honey-gold settee to the mauve table runner, jewel tone colors are abundant. Instead of hiding the scarred barnwood table, this design celebrates the furniture’s history and natural beauty. Taupe candlesticks cast a sultry glow upon matte black dinner plates and honey gold glassware from CE Rental.
The Bounties of a Local Harvest – Cuisine by Beau Catering
This romantic harvest wedding design would not be complete without the muse itself – local food! Allow us to introduce Beau Catering, the mastermind behind this delicious wedding feast. Born and raised in Little Washington, an inner-coastal eastern NC town, Beau Bennett understands the meaning of fresh ingredients. His catering company offers fresh and seasonal fare, most of which comes directly from local farms. We love the colorful attention to detail featured in these beautiful spreads of food. Especially the gourmet charcuterie boards spilling over with meat, cheese, nuts and berries in a dramatic and tasty display. From the hors d’oeuvres to the main course, your wedding guests will be begging for more bites by Beau Catering.
