My Big, Greek Summer Wedding at the Angus Barn Pavilion by McLean Events

Whether you are Greek, Polish or Liberian, if you have a big family, you understand the unique challenges that come along with event planning. McLean Events rose to the occasion when planning Nicole and Austin’s big, Greek summer wedding. Hydrangea bouquets and splashes of pale blue and blush accentuated the rustic elegance of the Angus Barn Pavilion wedding. This incredible event venue served Nicole, Austin, and their 300 guests for both the ceremony and the reception. Attendees enjoyed a weekend of celebration and entertainment all throughout Raleigh and the NC Triangle.

Nicole’s number one piece of advice to anyone planning a big wedding is to hire a wedding planner. She says, “McLean Events used my favorite colors and transformed the Pavilion into something that looked like it came out of a fairy tale!”

Super Bowl Love Story for the Win

Austin and Nicole first met at a Super Bowl party with mutual friends from church. Do you believe in love at first sight? Nicole says that, “It only took two weeks to realize we were meant for each other!” After the lovebirds got engaged they began their search for the perfect Raleigh wedding venue. Size and space were the biggest priorities for Austin and Nicole, due to their big greek family. An Angus Barn Pavilion wedding was the perfect choice. The bride and groom chose to host their ceremony and reception at this rustic Raleigh venue for comfort and convenience.

In regards to Angus Barn catering, Nicole tells it like it is, “No one can beat their food!”

Bride Nicole got ready for her big Greek, summer wedding at the Angus Barn Pavilion surrounded by her best friends. She stepped out in an elegant, ivory white bridal gown with a ball gown silhouette and sweetheart neckline. The bridesmaids looked lovely in pale blue dresses to match the summer wedding theme. Fresh garden bouquets filled with blue hydrangeas and blush and white blossoms completed the wedding day look. The groom and his groomsmen looked absolutely handsome in classic white and black tuxedos with formal bow ties.

Outdoor Summer Wedding Ceremony at the Angus Barn Pavilion Designed by McLean Events

McLean Events designed a gorgeous, outdoor ceremony space for Nicole and Austin to share their vows before family and friends. Nestled beneath a billowing white tent from Party Reflections, Nicole’s father walked her down the aisle. The Angus Barn Pavilion wedding ceremony was made especially unique with live music played by Nicole’s cousin and sister in law. The bride and groom’s pastor traveled to Raleigh NC all the way from their church in the DC area to officiate the wedding ceremony! That shows you how loved this couple is by their community. McLean Events planned gorgeous garden floral decorations to line the outdoor wedding ceremony aisle. And let’s not forget the show stopping floral ring altar that served as the background for Nicole and Austin’s vows.

My Big Greek Summer Wedding Reception at Angus Barn Pavilion by McLean Events

McLean Events did not hold back on making this event one of the most gorgeous Raleigh NC weddings of the summer. Towering centerpieces of blue hydrangeas surrounded by blush and white florals fill the space with a romantic, garden atmosphere. The Angus Barn Pavilion’s rustic elegance provided a wedding reception space in which Nicole and Austin’s 300 guests could celebrate love in complete comfort. Other honorable mentions of this summer wedding reception include the glowing chandeliers hung with floral decor and the fireplace accentuated by soft grey drapery. Acrylic chairs offer a modern allusion of even more space in the wedding reception space and give the gorgeous tablescapes clear visibility. Angus Barn catering took care of dinner, serving up only the freshest and most savory dishes. Let us not forget about dessert. But how could you, when Nicole and Austin’s six tier wedding cake had a gorgeous cascading waterfall of blue hydrangeas. Simply amazing!

After a night full of Greek dancing, Nicole and Austin exited their Angus Barn Pavilion wedding reception through a tunnel of sparklers. The couple currently resides in Virginia where Nicole is a first grade teacher and Austin works for the US Secret Service.
