Jane Rose Events Planned this Colorful Spring Wedding
Amanda Lampuri, the founder of Raleigh-based wedding planning company Jane Rose Events, planned this colorful, garden-inspired spring wedding for one of her closest friends. These cheerful spring colors are perfectly suited to The Merrimon-Wynne House in downtown Raleigh, NC.

Catherine Green and Chad Linville met as coworkers at a tech company in Research Triangle Park. After four years of dating, Chad surprised Catherine by popping the question on a rainy evening in Paris – a city close to Catherine’s heart as it was the backdrop for many family memories.
Jane Rose Events owner and lead planner Amanda Lampuri helped Chad and Catherine plan their dream garden-themed, black-tie ceremony and reception at Raleigh’s Merrimon-Wynne House on April 23, 2022.
“Amanda was incredible,” Catherine says of their planner – who also happened to be her maid of honor. “She has the best attention to detail, professionalism and truly makes an effort to make each client feel like they are her only priority. I can’t say enough about her design ideas, multitasking and ability to bring together the best special night that was two years in the making.”
Jane Rose Events worked with Meristem Floral to decorate the all-white interior of the Carriage House event space with elaborate floral displays along the ceremony aisle and altar. A floating floral installation suspended from ceiling beams and an asymmetrical arch elevated the wedding’s garden party theme.
Gold accents tied a bright, spring-inspired color palette together. Guests were wowed by the attention to detail and tickled by personal touches such as custom koozies and signature “His & Hers” cocktails. The couple opted for a tented reception on the lawn of The Merrimon-Wynne House.
Catherine and Chad share many amazing memories of their big day, from celebrating on the dance floor with the Sleeping Booty Band to hearing their loved ones’ toasts over the delicious meal catered by Donovan’s Dish.
