McAlister-Leftwich House – Greensboro Wedding Venue
If you’re searching for wedding venues in the Triad, consider the McAlister-Leftwich House. This romantic venue has a vintage vibe due to the historical nature of its two buildings, which are situated next to each other. The two houses used to be private homes. Now, the property has been converted to a full-time wedding and event venue. McAlister-Leftwich just minutes from downtown Greensboro. The Gothic-inspired Leftwich House has 14-foot ceilings and caters to an intimate ceremony of 40 or fewer guests. The space is also ideal for a cocktail hour or a dance floor. A 1,600-square-foot bridal suite and 1,300-square-foot groom’s suite offer ample space for getting ready on-site.

The Gant-McAlister House offers ceremony space for 125. This house includes second and third floors made for the wedding parties to get ready in — with sitting rooms, a hair and makeup room, a bar, putting green, poker table and dressing room.
Located in the picturesque Fisher Park neighborhood of Greensboro, the McAlister-Leftwich house also allows for an outdoor ceremony on the property. Couples can say “I do” in the lawn in front of the Leftwhich House or in the romantic Garden Nook.

McAlister-Leftwich offers an all-inclusive venue rate. This allows catering, planning, rentals and your cake to be included in a single package – saving a lot of stress and time. We love that the package also includes unlimited access to the entire property for a full 11 hours! There’s even options to add-on extra twinkle lights or a morning yoga session to your day.

WinMock at Kinderton – Classic Barn Venue in Winston-Salem
WinMock at Kinderton has long been a local favorite barn wedding venue in North Carolina. The venue is known locally for its handsome red and white barn which offers multiple event spaces for couples to tie the knot.

WinMock has the capacity to host large weddings in its loft, which features wrought-iron chandeliers and original wooden beams. The soaring ceilings of the loft give events in the space a grand feel that we can’t get enough of. For smaller ceremonies, an adjacent barn called The Granary has been restored for a more intimate feel. The Granary suits events like rehearsal dinners. Pre- or post-ceremony, guests can mingle in the downstairs portion of the main barn or on one of several outdoor terraces.

Farm Venue in the NC Triad
Once a working farm building, the barn at Summerfield Farms now offers rustic charm for couples and as many as 300 guests. This venue comes with all you could need on your special day: a rooftop terrace, reception tent, fire pit, built-in stage and ample parking. This farm venue is conveniently situated less than half an hour from Greensboro. Summerfield is one of our favorite barn wedding venues in the Triad because the venue is capable of hosting events of various sizes and offers modern rental packages.

Want to say “I do” outdoors? The rustic Pole Barn has open-air sides and is ideal for couples who want to combine natural setting with rustic charm and modern amenities. This barn is ideal for a slightly smaller gathering of 175 guests or fewer. The Little Tree is one of the treasures of the property – a gigantic oak tree located in a vast field, perfect for fully outdoor ceremonies. The farm also offers several other outdoor ceremony locations that can be tailored to each couples desires. All of these outdoor spaces can host larger events, so Summerfield is a great option if you don’t want to have to pare down your guest list.

On the property you will also find lodging for couples and wedding parties among Summerfield’s herds of grass-fed cattle, an organic farm and a farm store. This is one farm venue that really has it all!
