Give your wedding guests one of the best views of Raleigh at City Club wedding venue. Located on the twenty eighth floor, City Club is known for its elegance and show stopping views. Although City Club is a private member club, it is available for private event rental to non-members.

Renovated a few years ago, City Club Raleigh is now modern and offers the best aerial views of downtown. Imagine saying “I do” while having the entire skyline of Raleigh as the ceremony backdrop. Very few wedding venues in Raleigh will give guests a better view of downtown than City Club Raleigh.

Vidrio – An Upscale Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Wedding Venue

Stepping into Vidrio, Raleigh is like stepping into a modern art gallery with a whimsical atmosphere of the Mediterranean. This upscale downtown Raleigh wedding venue has a metropolitan vibe suited for hosting up to 250 people. Vidrio has two levels full of breathtaking decor including a wall covered in a rainbow of blown glass to match the venue’s name – Vidrio means glass is Spanish. Vidrio has multiple spaces that are perfect for wedding rehearsals dinners, small intimate wedding ceremonies, and big wedding receptions.

Downstairs at Vidrio you will find a comfortable bar area with over 50 wines on tap, and a large dining area with a raised smaller dining area surrounded by projection screens. Wow your guests with Vidrio’s vibrant small plates and larger courses. The food is as beautiful as the art on the walls! Choose from plates such as traditional beef skewers, to intricately prepared yellowfin tuna and so much more.

Warehouse Wedding Venues with Style in Downtown Raleigh, Market Hall

If you are a bride or groom who is looking for a wedding venue to display distinct style, downtown Raleigh has tons of unique venues for everyone. Warehouse wedding venues such as Market Hall, stand out in the historic Moore Square at City Market. If only the exposed brick walls could talk and tell us the story of Raleigh. Market Hall has has 20-foot high ceilings and an Old World look. With two large industrial ballrooms under one roof, Market Hall is one of the most sought-after warehouse wedding venues in Raleigh.

The Market View room can host up to 350 seated with a dance floor, and most weddings are 150 to 250. Its white exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and ample natural light make it a great option for a daytime or nighttime event.

The Park View room can host up to 150 seated with a dance floor, and most weddings are 75 to 125. Couples love weddings in this space because of the blank canvas of the uber industrial building. It has an upstairs loft which can be used for a wedding ceremony, or a cocktail lounge. The black iron staircase that leads up and down to this loft is a centerpiece of the room. There is a giant wooden backdrop perfect for ceremonies, and windows line two of the walls.

The Stockroom at 230 and Melrose Knitting Mill – Whimsical Downtown Raleigh Wedding Venues

Another favorite is The Stockroom, an urban venue with big city “loft” flair situated on the second floor at 230 Fayetteville Street. This spacious historic Raleigh event space is easy to fall in love with. Exposed brick walls and wooden beamed ceilings open up to gorgeous windows. There is an elevated area, which can be used as a lounge, or for the cake display. There is also a chalk wall, which is fun for a ceremony or sweetheart table backdrop.

The Stockroom at 230 can host large weddings – up to 185 for a seated dinner or 275 guests at a standing reception. This wedding venue is also a short walk (or rickshaw ride) away from the downtown Raleigh hotels and restaurants.

There is also an on site bridal suite, called The Glass Box. This is a penthouse suite in the same building and a couple of floors above The Stockroom. This small venue can be rented for stand-alone intimate Raleigh events. The Glass Box is a beautiful getting ready suite for the wedding party, as well as a place for wedding portraits. Guests fall in love with its ample natural light and outdoor patio in the center of downtown Raleigh.

Melrose Knitting Mill is another excellent downtown Raleigh wedding venue choice. Situated above Mulino, the famed courtyard with its tile-laden pool can be used for cocktail hour before a warehouse wedding reception. Melrose is a warehouse wedding venue that has an open floor plan, beautiful chandeliers, and comes with all-inclusive event packages.

Originally built in 1900, the historic building is a multi-use property serving as the location for the third-story special events venue. The onsite caterer, Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar is on the ground floor. In addition to onsite catering, the venue is managed by a wedding planning company who comes with the event packages. Southern Oak Events will help coordinate all that happens at the venue.

Bridge Club – Intimate Downtown Raleigh Loft Wedding Venue

The Merrimon-Wyne House – Historic Southern Elegance in the Heart of Downtown Raleigh
