All Saints Chapel: Raleigh’s White Chapel Where Couples Have Been Getting Married For 140 Years

There’s no doubt that All Saints Chapel is one of the prettiest wedding chapels in Raleigh. This historic chapel wedding venue is available for any couple to use. All Saints Chapel was built in 1875. Today, you can admire its original glory thanks to extensive restorations made to the building. Inside this beautiful white chapel, you’ll find stained glass windows, a cathedral ceiling and intricate woodwork.

All Saints Chapel is also flexible. You can choose to hold your entire celebration inside the chapel, or hold just your ceremony or reception at All Saints and pair it with a second location.

One of the best parts about this venue is that you can book Empire Eats Catering for your event at a reduced rate! All Saints Chapel is operated by the Empire group, which also owns several Raleigh restaurants. Empire Eats Catering offers dishes from each of these restaurants. But don’t fret if you have your heart set on another caterer. All Saints Chapel allows outside caterers, too!

The campus itself is a beautiful sight to behold, while Saint Mary’s Chapel is considered the heart of the Episcopal boarding school. Saint Mary’s Chapel is one of the most quaint and charming wedding chapels in NC. Architect Richard Upjohn designed the chapel in the popular Gothic Revival style. The chapel has gorgeous architectural details that will make your ceremony unforgettable. Saint Mary’s Chapel was built in 1856 and still has many original elements, like the steep gable roof, windows and gabled entryway.

River Dunes – This coastal waterfront venue in Eastern NC is situated where the Pamlico Sound meets the Neuse River. Greg Poole, Jr. All Faiths Chapel – This modern chapel located at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh was built in 1955. The chapel features terrazzo floors, decorative wood details and a beautiful rose stained-glass window. The chapel was renovated in 2020 and now offers modern features couples with its original charm.

Greenwood Forest Baptist Church – This Cary church welcomes all couples to tie the knot in its large sanctuary that can seat 500. Main features include a spectacular organ, exposed brick walls and floors, and beautiful wood details.

Duke Chapel – To book this highly coveted Durham chapel, either you, your betrothed or your parents or grandparents must be a current full-time Duke University student, graduate or full-time employee. Eligibility also extends to current members of the Board of Trustees, and faculty and staff who retired from Duke after fifteen or more years of continuous service plus their children and grandchildren. Keep in mind, Duke Chapel is in very high demand, and couples have been known to camp out in order to book their desired date!

Other details: No alcohol is permitted. The Chapel accepts reservations one year before the wedding month.

Jones Chapel at Meredith College – You don’t need to be an alumna of Meredith College or a Baptist to tie the knot at this pretty 400-seat sanctuary! Booking the chapel also entitles you to a photo session on the campus free of charge. The venue partners with Oak Leaf Catering to provide food and beverage services.

Pullen Memorial Baptist Church – This church in Raleigh, North Carolina, welcomes non-members to get married in its chapel or sanctuary.

Unity Center of Peace in Chapel Hill – This “little chapel in the woods” is a nondenominational wedding chapel option in Chapel Hill that welcomes all couples.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh – The sanctuary can accommodate up to 450 people. Other event spaces can be added on, and multiple packages are available. Your wedding rental can include up to 8 hours of use and the main sanctuary is also available for a shorter rental if you want to host your reception at a different location.
